We visited during a quieter time, nestled between the city’s peak tourist seasons. The Winter Village, a beloved seasonal staple, had just left, but the first hints of spring were in the air. The sun was shining, and the gentle sound of the Josephine Shaw Lowell Memorial Fountain created the perfect backdrop for an afternoon of reading surrounded by the hum of the city yet wrapped in a pocket of tranquility.
Despite the table’s slim surface, our Treker attached securely in seconds, letting us enjoy a perfectly curated reading playlist as we soaked in the spring air. Surrounded by fellow book lovers and daydreamers, it was the perfect blend of city energy and quiet escape.

After viewing the curated collection “A Century of The New Yorker,” we made our way into the study room and set up our materials. Our adventures across midtown led us to something sweet. We walked into Grace Street, a beloved Korean coffeehouse known for its Basque Burnt Cheesecakes and specialty drinks. Each of us ordered a drink and shared a plate of Matcha Beignets, the perfect pairing to end the afternoon.
